2013 Regular Season, Week 7
Manning vs. Luck
Indianapolis vs. Denver
39 - 33
October 20, 2013
Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
It was an emotional passing of the torch. Peyton Manning was returning to Indy with his new team and would face the new QB that Indianapolis was hoping would be able to fill Manning's shoes. Andrew Luck proved his was up to the task throwing for 3 touchdowns and running for another. Denver pulled out to an early lead, but Indianapolis took the lead in the 2nd quarter on a 20 yd TD pass from Luck to Stanley Havili, never trailing after that. Most recently Luck and Indianapolis repeated their win over Manning's Denver in the 2015 postseason.
2007 Super Bowl XLI
Hayden Pick Six
Indianapolis vs. Chicago
29 - 17
February 4, 2007
Dolphin Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
Despite a number of records to his name, Peyton Manning had a poor postseason record. Indianapolis had not seen the Super Bowl since 1971 and the team was still in Baltimore then. When Devon Hester returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, it looked like Indianapolis was going to be in for more postseason disappointment. But Manning rallied them back, pulling Indianapolis ahead in the 2nd quarter and extending the lead in the 3rd. Chicago was still in it though and it took Kelvin Hayden's 56 yd interception and touchdown to seal the game and get Indianapolis and Manning their first Super Bowl.
2007 AFC Championship
Ending the Dynasty
Indianapolis vs. New England
38 - 34
January 21, 2007
RCA Dome, Indianapolis, IN
New England had won the AFC championship in the previous 5 years, and looked like they were heading for a sixth win, jumping out to 21-3 early on. But Peyton Manning rallied the team to stage the biggest comeback ever seen in a conference championship. The 4th quarter was a duel between two great QBs, with each side trading scores. Indianapolis pushed it over the top with a last minute drive that ended with Joseph Addai rushing into the endzone. Manning got his biggest win in 9 years, finally taking Indianapolis to a Super Bowl.
2003 Regular Season, Week 5
4th Quarter Comeback
Indianapolis vs. Tampa Bay
38 - 35
October 6, 2003
Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL
It is one of the greatest NFL comebacks ever. Indianapolis was down by 3 touchdowns with only 4 minutes left in the game. Tony Dungy was considering pulling Peyton Manning but then Brad Pyatt's 90 yd return reignited the team. A quick rushing TD and a recovered onside kick set Manning up for a 28 yd TD pass to Marvin Harrison. After holding Tampa to 3 and out, Manning drove the team once more and got the tying touchdown on a rush from Ricky Williams. Mike Vanderjagt's 29 yd field goal won the game in OT.
