1967 NFL Championship
Starr wins the Ice Bowl
Green Bay vs. Dallas
21 - 17
December 31, 1967
Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
Dubbed "The Ice Bowl" it was the coldest championship ever played. Green Bay got the ball with 4:50 left, down by 3, and with a windchill of -70 F. They marched down to the 1 yard line, but the players couldn't keep their footing on the icy ground. Third down with 16 seconds remaining, Green Bay finally forced their way into the endzone, executing on Vince Lombardi's call to "run it, and let's get the hell out of here!"
