Brian Dumoulin opened scoring with a goal on a power play but San Jose's Logan Couture tied it in the second. Kris Letang quickly answered, with the eventual game winner, off a pass from Sidney Crosby to put Pittsburgh up 2 - 1. Patric Hornqvist finished the game with an empty netter to give Pittsburgh a resounding win over San Jose and their 4th Stanley Cup.
